EVENT DESCRIPTION
On June 26th at 7pm Red Licorice Events is hosting the Twilight 5K at the Hill Country Galleria. Finally, a race dedicated to this generation's brooding vampire bad boys. There's going to be plenty for everyone including sparkle stations, racing by blood type, and other sweet & twisted fun.
Athletes will choose to represent Team Jacob or Team Edward. After the race the team with the lowest average time wins! What will you win? You've got to show up to find out.
Speaking of winning, this race does away with the typical racing by age group nonsense. Instead, runners will participate by blood type. Not sure of your type? We'll assign one to you.
Throughout the race we'll be picking out our favorite vampire costumes so come dressed to impress. Traditional cape and fangs or brooding Cullen family – the choice is up to you.

Child Care Option
Put Art in your Heart and Hill Country Kids are offering to watch and engage your children in fun activities during the Twilight 5K.
Ages 2-10
As sponsors for the Twilight 5k, Hill Country Kids and Put Art in Your Heart are teaming up to offer music, dance, storytelling, and games for the children (ages 3-12) of all the race participants for FREE. Our doors will be open between 6 pm and 8:30 pm and parents can drop their kids off at anytime. Your child will be able to have their own fun with things like jump rope, ball toss, long jump, crab walk, and more! Let your child come be a part of their own competition.
Note: Children 2-3 years of age must be accompanied by a change of clothes (diaper bag) and a snack.

Benefiiting the Blood and Tissue Center
The Blood and Tissue Center today is the exclusive provider and guardian of the community blood supply for more than 37 medical facilities in a ten-county service area of Central Texas.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There are no refunds. Registered athletes unable to participate will be allowed to transfer their entry to another athlete and/or event distance up until 30 days prior to the event date. There is a $20 transfer fee. Athletes are required to notify the race director in writing or e-mail to request a transfer form. The race director reserves the right to decline a transfer request.
