VENUE DESCRIPTION
Flat Rock Ranch • Flat Rock Creek Rd. • Comfort, TX 78013

Flat Rock Ranch is located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country about 45 miles Northwest of San Antonio. The ranch consists of 1,300 rugged acres that have been in our family for over 100 years. In fact, we raise Black Angus cattle and Angora goats. Currently we have 25 miles of existing single track with some jeep trail. The trails lead through typical hill country terrain, with spectacular views, hill climbs, long downhill sections, technical single track, and several creek crossings.

From San Antonio: Take IH 10 West from San Antonio 45 miles to Comfort. Take the first Comfort exit, State Highway 27 west. Continue approximately 1/2 mile to the first flashing yellow light at the Y intersection of State Highway 27 and US 87 North (to the right). Go 1/4 mile to the second flashing light and take Farm to Market 473 East (to the right). Go one mile and take Flat Rock Creek Road to the North (left). The pavement ends four miles later at the gate to Flat Rock Ranch. Go through the gate, close the gate and park near the only cedar pole shed on the left. Please close any gate you open on the property. This ranch does have live stock, which you will rarely see.

From Austin: Take US 290 West from Austin to Fredericksburg. At Fredericksburg take US 87 South (left turn). Continue 26 miles to Comfort. 1/2 mile South of the intersection of IH 10 and US 87 go East (left) at the flashing light at Farm to Market 473.
